A thing I always enjoyed when reading Mignola (when he was still illustrating his own stories) was the details. His pen strokes are rather simplistic (yet the shadows are beautifully complex)—part of his trademark—but that doesn’t mean he didn’t include interesting details in the settings.I love his little tapestry right here, on the right. Kinda reminds me of a level in hell, or perhaps just a hag dancing with a demon and the bestiary.
